Hi, I’m Leigh Ann
the founder of TraveLAB, where I bring my fiery passion for designing unique travel experiences to life. My journey into the world of travel began in 2006 when my husband, Rick, and I embarked on an international adventure with our three young children. We traversed four European countries, relying solely on train travel, and stayed in seven different hotels over three weeks. Our family of five, along with both sets of grandparents and a niece, turned this meticulously planned trip into a roaring success, igniting my wanderlust and a confidence to travel with young children to far-flung places. This passion led us to explore Swaziland and South Africa the following year with a 4-year-old in tow. I developed a deep desire to WANDER and explore the world…. After retiring from over 30 years in corporate tax and visiting over 25 countries, I decided to channel my travel passion into a new venture. I traded boardrooms for beachfronts and boarding planes. In 2023, I founded TraveLAB with a mission to design unforgettable travel experiences that create lifelong memories. At TraveLAB, I am committed to serving others with excellence and curating your next travel adventure with the same energy I put towards my own personal travels.
I am a true Georgia Peach, residing in Alpharetta with my husband and
our four pups. I am the mother of three adult children—Lawson, Parker,
and Chase—and a grandmother to a beautiful granddaughter, Charlotte.
They are our world! Planning a trip is all about creating an authentic
cultural experience—meeting new people, trying local cuisine, and
exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations.
I am creative,
enthusiastic, and considerate of one’s budget, always adding a special
touch to each client’s adventure. My CPA certification, strong
organizational skills, and years of accounting experience allow me to
work with your vision while meeting your budget.
